Located across the Phoenix Metropolitan area, Arizona State was established in 1885. Although there are four campuses, all of them are accredited under one university. The Sun Devils currently compete in the NCAA’s Division I Pac Ten Conference. Originally, the school was represented by an owl, than a “normal,” a bulldog and finally in 1946 they became the Sun Devils. Since 2008, ASU has won 134 National Championships including mixed archery 20 times and mixed badminton 10 times. The football team took the Rose Bowl in 1987 as well as the Fiesta Bowl in 1971, 1972, 1973, 1975, and 1982.
