Kings Colors Flags

In 1603, James VI of Scotland became king of Britain, merging the kingdoms of Scotland and England. In 1606, King James ordered the joining of the flag of Scotland (St. Andrew's Cross) and that of England (St. George's Cross). While still in use today, it was this flag that was most hated by the American colonists. Many of the protesting colonists protested with variations of the King's Colors.
