The University of Mississippi is located in Oxford, Mississippi and was established in 1848. Also known as Ole Miss, the schools original nickname was actually the Mississippi Flood. The university competes in the Southeastern Conference West Division of the NCAA’s Division I. Every Year Ole Miss and one of their rivals, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, play each other in bowl game called the Battle of the Golden Egg. Their school colors are Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue. One of the most decorated athletes at Mississippi was Armintie Price; she was named to the All-SEC first team three times, the SEC defensive player of the year twice and she is one of two players in NCAA history to score more than 2000 points, 1000 rebounds, 400 assists and 400 steels.
