Based out of St. Louis, Missouri, the St. Louis Rams belong to the western division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The team played in Cleland and Los Angeles before moving to St. Louis before their 1995 season. They have only appeared in the Super Bowl once; in 1999 they played in Super Bowl XXXIV against the Tennessee Titans. Their team colors are Millennium Blue and New Century Gold. Founded in 1936 by Homer Marshman, the Ram’s name comes from the nickname of Fordham University. The Rams were the first professional team to put a logo on their helmets; they still have ram horns on the helmets today.
