US Flags for GSA Advantage
By October, 1774 the colonists were unhappy with the British who had enacted various laws to tax them. The Stamp Act and Tea Act were examples of these laws. One of these organized groups was named the Sons of Liberty. Before battles were fought, the colonists often was displayed by the flags they flew, such as this one in Tauton, Massachusetts. It was a common protest flag- a "mutilated" version of the British flag.
