U.S. Air Force Flags

The U.S. Air Force was established in 1947 after breaking away from the U.S. Army branch. The Air Force is the aerial, space and cyber branch of the United States military. The flag of the United States Air Force consists of the coat of arms, 13 white stars which represent the 13 original colonies (the 3 star grouping at the top portray the three Departments of the National Defense Establishment) and the Air Force Seal.
