Western Samoa Flags

The Western Samoa flag honors the dignity and pride of the nation with class and style. Adopted on February 24, 1949, the flag depicts a blue rectangle in the canton that bears the Southern Cross Constellation, four larger white stars and one smaller one. The blue symbolizes freedom while red denotes the courage of the people, as well as being a traditional Samoan color. The five stars represent the moonlight.
