1. Can I install a telescopic flagpole myself? 

Our 20-foot telescoping flagpoles come with installation instructions and do not need the help of a professional. However, if you are uncomfortable installing the flagpole yourself, please seek help.  

2. Can I fly multiple flags on a 20-foot telescoping flagpole?  

Our telescoping flagpole comes with four swivel rings, making it possible to fly two flags. When flying multiple flags on a 20-foot flagpole, we recommend using a 3’x5’ flag on top and a 2’x3’ on the bottom. The American flag should always be a size larger than your state or military flag to avoid violating flag etiquette.  

3. Can you fly a flag at half-mast on a telescopic flagpole?  

Yes, to fly your flag at half mast, lower your extendable flagpole and then unclip your flag from the top ring and attach it to the bottom ring instead. Once clipped, you can raise your pole again and your flag will be at half-staff.  

4. Can you fly your U.S. flag at night?  

The flag code states that the American flag must be properly illuminated when flown at night. If flying your flag 24/7, we recommend using a solar light. Our solar disks light topper illuminate from the top to create spectacular night displays.  

5. Should I buy a telescoping or sectional flagpole kit?  

Telescopic flagpoles and sectional flagpoles have their own advantages and disadvantages. The one that works best depends on your specific needs and preference.
  

Telescopic flagpoles are typically easier to set up and take down and can be collapsed into a compact size for storage and transport. However, they may not be as sturdy or durable as sectional flagpoles, particularly in high wind conditions.
 

Sectional flagpoles, on the other hand, are generally sturdier during strong winds and other harsh weather conditions. However, they can be more difficult to set up as the individual sections need to be assembled and secured properly.
