Unfortunately, yes. While we do our best to get your product to you as quickly as possible, we occasionally have supply chain issues like most companies. We have been impacted by supply issues, worker shortages, and longer delivery times. This can affect any stock item, including custom products. If you ever have any questions about your order, you can call us at 800-628-3524 or reach out to us at customercare@carrot-top.com.
2 - How do I receive a quote?
For Custom-Made Products log in to your website account and select the products, you will be prompted for your personalization of the item. You may also contact us at 800-628-3524 to purchase via one of our Sales Reps.
For Standard Stock Products That Do Not Require Customization, please create an account on our website and request a quote. We will send you a quote within 24 business hours.
3 - Custom Products: How do I submit my artwork? What type of file do you need to print? Can I see a proof before it’s printed?
Artwork files can be uploaded through the website at the time of order, you will receive an e-mail with a proof or requesting any additional needed information. You may also contact us at 800-628-3524 to purchase via one of our Sales Representatives. They will send you an e-mail link to upload your images.
Please see below for the artwork format requirements. You will then receive a proof to confirm your logo, colors and text are correct before the production of your product.
Custom products are billed at the time of purchase, are non-refundable, and cannot be returned. When we receive an order, our team goes to work on finalizing art, setting up, and scheduling equipment. As a result, once an order enters production, we are unable to cancel or make any changes to your order. Please allow 6-8 weeks after final design approval for the production and delivery of this custom product. Price breaks on custom products only apply to quantities of the same design.
Shipping confirmation and tracking information will be sent once your order has been created and is ready for shipment.

What Kind of Artwork is Required for Custom Product Production?
Vector artwork files are used to print our custom products. Using vector artwork ensures your image will print clearly, not pixelated. Vector artwork, created in Illustrator, is comprised of outlines, not pixels. All fonts used within the vector file must be converted to outlines to avoid font substitution if we don’t have the font on our computers. You can always send us your font files, and we can convert your fonts to outlines.
What If I Don't Have a Vector File of My Artwork?
Our graphic artists can work with any type of file or sample (jpg, tif, png, gif, doc, docx, pdf, ai, eps, tif, psd, ppt or printout of your artwork) to create a vector file of your custom product. If you provide a photo of your artwork, a resolution of 300 dpi or higher will give you the best results. If we create a vector file of your artwork, the standard fee will be a one-time $40 artwork creation charge. If the project is more in-depth and complicated, there may be additional artwork charges and a different fee will be communicated. As an added bonus, we will retain your vector artwork on file to make it easy for you to place future custom product orders with Carrot-Top Industries.
We will provide a proof to you prior to starting print production of your custom product.
Can’t Find a Design You Like? We have numerous stock logos available on our 3-Step Custom Flags page that you can use to create the custom product design that suits your unique needs. Our logos, mascots, and insignia can be used on any custom product.
4 - How do I place an order?
Step 1: To place an order online, use the links on the top of the page to browse through our most popular products. You may also search by item number or name using the search field at the top right of every page on our site.
Step 2: Once you have found a product you would like to purchase, be sure you have the right size and quantity then click the “add to cart” button. This should redirect you to the shopping cart and show your item or items along with the option to use a discount or source code if available. Click “Proceed to Checkout” to continue placing your order.
Step 3: Now you will have the option to log in to your account, checkout as a guest, or register for a new account. You will need to fill out your billing and shipping information, then choose your shipping method, enter your payment options and submit the order for authorization.
5 - What shipping methods do you offer? How long will it take to receive my order?

Carrot-Top is constantly monitoring shipping rates and will always ship by the fastest and most affordable method. Our standard, stock products are usually shipped by UPS and FedEx Ground, 2-day Air or Next Day Air.
All estimated days for delivery are based on business days or weekdays, not including weekends. If an order is placed before the 3:00 p.m. EST cut-off on Friday and Next Day Air is selected, the item will arrive on the following business which is Monday. Please note that Carrot-Top strives to consistently meet these expectations but in no way can be accountable for unforeseen circumstances or delays outside of our control.
- Barring any delays for credit holds or other problems, any orders (except truck shipments) placed by 3:00 p.m. EST will be shipped that day
- Oversize products such as larger flagpoles are usually shipped via motor freight. Motor freight will typically take one to two weeks for delivery
- Orders that have out-of-stock items will not ship till all products are in stock. Should you need your in-stock item sooner please place two separate orders. Payment will not be taken till the order ships.
- Custom-made item production usually takes one to two weeks, plus delivery by Ground.
Should you need your item more quickly, just give Carrot-Top a call – even after 3:00 p.m. EST. A rush fee may be included on your order, along with expedited shipping. Our Sales Professionals can process your rush orders at 800-628-3524. When your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email from customercare@carrot-top.com that will include your tracking number.
6 - Can I use my company’s business account for FedEx or UPS shipping?
Please call us at 800-628-3524 to order using your FedEx or UPS business account.
7 - What payment options do you accept?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as PayPal.
We do not currently accept Company Purchase Orders online.

8 - Can I use coupon codes from other websites?
Carrot-Top publishes current Sales information, Coupon codes and Discount codes for our valued customers in the following locations when available. Some restrictions may apply. Coupon codes from other websites are not valid on Carrot-Top.com.

9 - How can I check the status of my order or see my order history?
To check the status of your order, log in to your Carrot-Top account. Your Account Dashboard will show you the most recent orders you placed online.
You can click “View All” at the top or “My Orders” on the right side to see a full list of your orders.
If you have not previously ordered on our website, please contact our Sales Center at 800-628-3524 for more information.
10 - Will I pay sales tax when I order online?
Due to the Supreme Court ruling from Wayfair v. South Dakota, Carrot-Top does collect sales tax when it is required by the stat There are instances where your entity (i.e. Federal and/or State Institutions) may be eligible for state sales tax exemption.
If you have an existing account on our website, you can review your tax-exempt status by logging in and going to the Account Information tab in your account.
If you are exempt and it's not correctly reflected in your account or you need to update it, please send a completed Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate and include the institution name, exemption number, address, and phone number.

IF YOU ARE TAX EXEMPT and have submitted your completed Tax Exemption Certificate to us, please call 800-628-3524 to place your order. This will ensure that sales tax will not be added to your order.
11 - How long will my flag last? Can I wash my flag?
Any flag flown outside from sun up to sun down should last at least 60-90 days, per government specifications. Our customers have claimed that our flags have lasted 6 months to a year, but this is dependent on your weather environment.
Should you notice your flag is soiled, we recommend spot cleaning only. We do not recommend using a washing machine or dry-cleaning service. The chemicals and machines used could possibly further damage your flag.
12 - What is your return policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, call our Customer Care Professionals at 800-628-3524.
We stand behind our products. Our knowledgeable and experienced Customer Care Professionals make every effort to assist customers in finding the best products to suit their needs. We will always offer our guidance and skilled expertise to ensure you purchase the right items.
You may return unused non-custom-made products up to six months from the date of purchase. We ask that any product you return be in its original condition and packaging. Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned product, Carrot-Top will take one of the following actions:
- We can replace or exchange the item with the product you need.
- We will apply a credit to your account. If you do not contact us about receiving a refund for the credit that is currently on your account, it will remain there for 6 months from the date of cancellation and can be used to pay for any future order within that time frame.
- We will refund you the original cost of the product. If requesting a refund, it will be processed in one of two ways. A credit to the credit card used for payment or a refund check will be issued. 
For custom products, you will receive a proof for your approval prior to production. Our custom-made products may be returned if there is a manufacturing error, product defect, or fault of Carrot-Top. Call us as soon as you notice there is a problem.
Boy Scouts of America products are a custom product and cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing error or product defect.
13 - Do your products include a warranty or guarantee?

Our aim is to ensure that the problem does not continue to occur once we replace or repair your flag. Please contact us at 800-628-3524 to talk with our Sales Department. We may request information to assist us in diagnosing your flag issue – such as:
- Photos of the flag as it is displayed including the flagpole and surrounding area
- Information around the flagpole such as the height or type of pole
- Information about the area and weather conditions that you are flying the flag in
Our Guarantee does not apply to misuse, negligence, theft, extreme weather, or natural disaster. Carrot-Top reserves the right to investigate and/or deny any claim.
14 - Do you offer wholesale pricing?

15 - Do quantity price breaks apply to multiple design variations?
No, the quantity pricing listed is for a single custom design only. In the case of multiple custom designs, quantity pricing will be applied for each design and not across-the-board.
16 - Do you rent products?
No, We do not rent products. We have found our customers prefer to own products to be able to use them for many events throughout the year. Please call us at 800-628-3524 to discuss the products you are interested in!
17 - I forgot my user name and password, what do I do?
Your user name is the email address you used to set up your account online. Please remember that your password is case sensitive. If your password was “CARROTTOP” and you entered it as “carrottop”, you would receive an “incorrect password” error message because you did not enter it as uppercase.
If you remember your user name but not your password, enter your valid user name and click the “Forgot Your Password” link (located just below the username and password fields on the login screen). A new password will automatically be generated and sent to your email. Some standard email filters may automatically send the response to your spam/junk mail folder.
If your account was created more than three years ago and has been inactive, you may be required to create a new account.
18 - How do I update my account info?
Once you are logged into your account you can easily change your contact information, billing, and shipping addresses or look over your previous orders using the link on the right side. Be sure that you save your changes before you begin shopping.
19 - How do I request a free catalog?
To request your free Carrot-Top Industries catalog, click on the free catalog link at the bottom of our website and we will mail one to you!

20 - Is it safe to order using Carrot-Top.com? What is your Privacy Policy?
We have never received a report of credit card fraud resulting from a purchase at this website. Carrot-Top.com is a secure site which undergoes monthly scans in compliance with PCI standards. All of the information submitted to us through our website is encrypted.

21 - Do your flags run true to size?
Depending on the type of flag you have purchased, there may be a variation in size up to 5 percent. Generally speaking, sewn flags tend to be closer to their actual size because they do not undergo the same finishing process as other types of flags. The finishing process for flags that are not sewn includes washing, steaming, and drying—all of which can cause shrinkage and size variation. If you are purchasing multiple flags that need to be the same size, be sure to speak with a Sales Professional to ensure your order is as close to accurate as possible. 22 - Do your charge retail delivery fees in Colorado?
Yes. As of July 1, 2022, Colorado started imposing a retail delivery fee on all deliveries by motor vehicle to a location in Colorado with at least one item of tangible personal property subject to state sales or use tax. Retail delivery fee is non-refundable.
