Seven of the Eder brothers came together to open a company that produced rag dolls, pillows, hunting jackets, and felt pennants. Eventually, one of the original seven brothers, Morris Eder, passed the business to his son Eugene, who had developed a passion for flag making. In 1957, after serving a tour of duty during WWII aboard the USS Bronstein and earning a law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Eugene officially gained ownership of his father’s company. He spent the next 50+ years growing the business, moving it to Oak Creek, Wisconsin, in 1979.
